Requirements

  • at least 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
  • at least 2 years of experience as a Senior Pastry Chef or Sous Pastry Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
  • proven ability to create a range of high-quality desserts and pastries
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • strong organizational and time-management skills
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • pastry Chef: 2 years
  • senior Pastry Chef: 2 years

Responsibility

  • prepare and bake a range of desserts and pastries, including cakes, tarts, and pies
  • assist the Pastry Chef in menu planning and recipe development
  • create new and innovative pastry dishes that reflect the season and local ingredients
  • monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary supplies on hand
  • manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • maintain a clean and organized kitchen to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met
  • collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to deliver a high-quality dining experience
  • train and supervise kitchen staff to deliver high-quality pastry dishes
