Responsibility

  • year end accounts preparation for partnerships, sole traders and limited companies
  • management accounts for larger clients
  • year end bookkeeping
  • we are looking for an experienced, qualified accountant with at least 3 years' post qualification practice experience to join our growing accountancy practice
  • tax computations – self assessment and corporation tax
  • we are looking for a candidate who is not only technically sound, but also has excellent people skills and is able to take on a senior role within the practice
  • liaising with HMRC and clients
  • leading a small team to ensure work is fairly allocated, deadlines are met and clients are provided with outstanding quality service

Requirements

  • 3 years' post qualification experience in a practice setting
  • 2 years' post qualification experience in a practice setting
  • ability / experience of leading a small team of bookkeepers and part qualified accountants would be desirable
  • ability to/ experience of leading a small team of bookkeepers and part qualified accountants
  • accounting: 5 years
  • accounting: 4 years
  • qualified ACCA or ICAEW
