Responsibility
- we are currently seeking a highly motivated and eager-to-learn Apprentice IT Support Technician to join our IT team
- assist in providing technical support to employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- help set up, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals
- support the installation, maintenance, and updates of software applications
- participate in the implementation and maintenance of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls
- assist in the management and monitoring of data backups, security measures, and disaster recovery plans
- document and maintain accurate records of IT-related inventory, issues, and resolutions
- velocity Academy have an exciting new opportunity for an Apprentice IT Support Technician with Ashleigh Signs, a signage manufacturer, based in Normanton, Wakefield
Requirements
- 5 GCSEs grades A\*-C/9-4 or equivalent
- great work ethic - good timekeeping is essential
- strong interest in pursuing a career in IT support or a related field
- willingness to take on new challenges and learn from experienced professionals
- enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
- excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a desire to learn and grow
