Responsibility
- creation of Rapid Controller Prototype and S-function builds to support internal customer physical and virtual validation activities
- de-bugging of control systems and interfaces using simulation tools
- support vehicle and system data logging, analysing and reporting findings
- integration of model-based control function components into executable control systems with associated testing and de-bugging activities
- this includes development and demonstration of new concepts and systems via desktop simulation and working with software engineers to update and improve existing systems and architectures
- creating executable model-based vehicle network interfaces to support prototype control system deployment
- design and development of simulation environments in C++ and Matlab/Simulink
- working with a team of system and control engineers, including an offshore team, to deliver concept and production systems in a timely manner according to vehicle programme timing and local delivery milestones
Requirements
- software engineering: 3 years
- an ability to work independently to solve complex technical issues using a structured approach and identify areas for improvement
