Responsibility
- day to day reconciliation of accounts ensuring records are accurate and matching on Xero software
- maintaining the company petty cash account and collecting cash
- processing receipts through Dext and correctly coding them to the relevant accounts
- ensuring payable and receivable ledgers are up to date and accurate
- act as a first point of contact for AR/AP expense queries
- prepare expense reports on Dext
- audit HMRC PVA against VAT on imports quarterly in preparation for VAT returns
- assist the Head of Finance in the daily payments process; by reviewing payment requests from the purchasing department against invoices from suppliers
