Responsibility
- negotiate win-win collaborations with new and existing suppliers. Understand and explain both our and our suppliers’ strategy and identify common ground
- identify and deliver opportunities for improvement of our terms with suppliers, including margin enhancement, lead sharing and operational win-win models
- identify potential new suppliers globally who would fit in our strategy and product portfolio
- set up relations between the right contacts at our suppliers and Customer Service, Sales, Product Management where needed
- work closely with the rest of the team to decide how the product portfolio and market coverage should evolve
- build in-depth knowledge about our suppliers and their product lines and exchange the necessary information with the rest of the team to drive market success
