Responsibility

  • provide strategic financial advice and support, acting as a trusted advisor for clients' finance and business growth
  • develop financial models and conduct analysis to support decision-making processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
  • prepare and present financial reports, including monthly reporting and presentations, to communicate business performance
  • review and implement KPIs to track and improve business performance
  • systems and process review, and supporting ERP implementation
  • assist with fundraising efforts, including preparing financial projections, investment memorandums, and supporting documentation
  • collaborate with the CFO and cross-functional teams to identify and implement growth initiatives
  • implement financial controls, policies, procedures to mitigate risk

Requirements

  • proven expertise in financial management, including strategic planning, financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting
  • experience in enabling and accelerating the scaling up of high growth companies
  • end-to-end accounting and financial experience in UK-based small businesses or SMEs required
  • strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data to drive business decisions
  • though you won't be intensively involved in bookkeeping posting, as a qualified CA you will have strong understanding of double entries
  • qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in senior finance roles, such as Financial Controller, Finance Director or CFO
