Responsibility
an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Installations Engineer in a dedicated installations engineering team. In and around the Bridgwater area
as an Installation Engineer you will undertake the installation of electronic security systems and ensure all installations are completed on time
the Installation work is carried
the recording of as-built information and marking up drawing, cable routes, schedules and commissioning readings means you will need to be able to work to the highest standards of quality at all times
out at our Hinkley point C sites and across Avon & Somerset. There will be a requirement to work an occasional late evening and weekend as required
production of accurate project reports as directed by the Project Manager
deliver excellent customer service at all times
Requirements
understanding Security, access control and IP CCTV security disciplines, integrated and standalone solutions
working knowledge of CDM regulations on projects would be an advantage, but not crucial
appropriate apprenticeship certificate
experienced Security installations specialist or Experienced Electrical/Data engineer, Intruder
experience in working both independently & in a team-orientated environment
minimum of 1-3 years post apprenticeship experience would be beneficial
alarm Systems, Access Control systems, CCTV, Tanoy, PIDs and Intercom Systems
experience/knowledge of networks, network architectures and client server topologies would be advantageous, but not crucial
