Requirements
- previous Warehouse Manager experience is essential
- experienced in Picking and packing, Goods In and Goods Out
- reach Truck licence is desirable
- racking Inspection Certificate desirable
- A Utility Warehouse Manager must be able to motivate their team and lead by example
- IOSH certificate desirable
- first Aid and Fire Marshal certificates are desirable
- full, clean driving licence is desirable as you may be required to drive the delivery van
Responsibility
- oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
- train and manage a warehouse team to solve day to day operational issues and reach short and long term performance goals
- review and prepare workflow, space requirements, equipment layout and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
- consistently demonstrate excellent leadership and effective communication skills
- responsible for following all Health and Safety regulations put in place and ensure all staff do the same
- complete administrative duties and handle confidential documentation in an appropriate and efficient manner
- ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organising, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring and managing operation goals
- comply with and implement company standards in a consistent manner, enforcing high standards of behaviour throughout the team
