Responsibility
- plans all phases of solar project installation from beginning to end, as these phases pertain to their knowledge area
- follows RECC, MCS, and building regs to make certain that a solar project site is up to code and regs
- makes alternate plans for inclement weather
- ensures the safety of employees and other workers on a job site
- provides guidance and job tasks to workers and oversees job performance
- inspects old buildings to verify structural integrity
- follows up on jobs to make sure elements are in working order
- completes any necessary paperwork, including testing and sign offs
Requirements
- PV installation experience for the role, in commercial and domestic sites
- testing and inspection experience preferred
- 18th Edition
- level 3 or NVQ standard
