Requirements
- experience of supporting vulnerable people experiencing complex learning needs
- awareness of Housing Management issues and legal rights and obligations of tenures
- knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding concerns and responsibilities
- experience and up to date knowledge of the welfare benefits system
- be confident and able to communicate and engage with people from a wide range of backgrounds
- develop creative solutions to problems and barriers
- experience of managing conflict and Anti-Social Behaviour
- A car driver with access to a car with Business use insurance cover
Responsibility
- any other reasonable duties as required within the remit of the role
- assist with the move into the tenancy, ensuring that the tenant has the basic household items they require and understand their obligations under the tenancy agreement
- provide statistical information on a monthly basis for monitoring purposes
- complete a needs assessment and identify clear goals with each tenant to enable them to maintain their tenancy
- record and monitor all visits and contacts made and the outcomes for each tenant supported
- attend as appropriate, training courses and events to ensure continuous development of skills and knowledge relevant to the role
