Responsibility

  • general Manager - Urban Tiger - Northampton
  • the club is open from Tuesday to Saturday each week and is a late night venue
  • you will also be required to recruit new dancers and create an environment whereby retention of these people is maximised
  • mcManus Pub Company is a family owned independent pub company which has been operating successfully for over 50 years with 22 venues in Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and Essex
  • we are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead and manage Urban Tiger which is a premium late night club in the town centre of Northampton. Please view the Facebook page to find out more about the club
  • as the General Manager, you will create a welcoming atmosphere, deliver exceptional customer service, and maximise revenue opportunities throughout the week. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact in a lively and social setting
  • alongside the McManus team, the role involves managing approximately 25 self employed dancers in a professional manner with their welfare and performance as core priorities
  • you will also work with the DJ to create and maintain a vibrant atmosphere with stage shows and entertainment for our guests

  • analyse financial data, prepare budgets, and actively seek opportunities to optimize profitability
  • deliver outstanding customer service building strong customer relationships
  • exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage day-to-day operations effectively
  • familiarity with licensing regulations, health and safety practices, and legal compliance
  • ensure the club is fully stocked with a wide range of quality beverages, including an extensive selection of beers, wines, cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic options
  • flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
