warehouse operative
Responsibility
work safely and promote a ‘Serious about safety’ approach in all aspects of the role
to ensure that the correct goods are received, stored and dispatched to a high standard
full utilization of inventory management systems and warehouse iPad apps
adequately maintain all MHE and work equipment
be compliant to all policies, procedures and legislative requirements
cooperate on all matters concerned with health, safety, training, legislation, and the environment
warehouse manager
Responsibility
to lead the site handling of return of site empties and ensure effective liaising with transport and central planning and network sites to ensure we return them cost effectively
lead waste management on site and ensure efficient handling to reduce quantity and processing costs
adding value to the business through continuous improvement, recommending and driving ways in which the site can improve profitability and operating effectiveness
ensuring effective cost management in all controllable areas, including overtime
driver
Requirements
hold a class 1 license and be willing to drive all types of company vehicles when required
Responsibility
driver in a safe and appropriate manner at all times
assist with the training of new personnel as requested by line management
comply with legal and company vehicle segregation rules
ensure that the vehicle first aid kit, fire extinguisher and spill kit is maintained & serviceable
to ensure compliance to all quality and responsible care procedures
