Responsibility
- driver must also be reliable as some students do not like change
- the Ideal candidate would be someone who is semi retired/retired or someone that has no commitments around school times
- school Transport Drivers perform a valuable role in the Community, transporting children and young adults to and from school and educational centres. This is a highly rewarding role transporting mainly children with special educational needs
- you will be required to work Monday-Friday, 2-3 hours in the morning and 2-3 hours in the afternoon during term times only
- due to the needs to these students the driver must have a calm and caring approach, good communication skills and also be professional in their work and attitude at all times
- working hours would be between 07:00 - 10:00 in the morning and 14:00 - 17:00 in the afternoon
- to work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operation of the Company
Requirements
- to have a valid UK Driving Licence
- pass a Medical
- undertake a Criminal Record Check
- ensure vehicle is kept in a safe & convenient location
- driving: 10 years
