• ▪ Preparation of sub-contract enquiries
• ▪ Attendance at regular planned internal meetings such as: labour, management, and safety meetings
• ▪ Provide technical expertise to support customer requirements and team colleagues

• to provide commercial, technical and project controls expertise to ensure packages of work are understood and estimated

• ▪ To ensure complete enquiry files are maintained

Responsibility

• to be fully aware of all specifications relating to the portion of work within a specific area
• ensure that activities are carried out in the most productive manner
• make sure that all materials, tools and equipment are available prior to commencement of any works

• report on a daily basis the progress of the work to the Planning Team
• to improve awareness by leading toolbox talks, safety audits etc for the team
• check that each portion of the works has been completed correctly, to the drawings and specifications so that the minimum rectification works are carried out during inspection and testing phases
• lead by example in encouraging teamwork, flexibility and to create an ethos of ideas, generation and culture of continuous improvement
• identify any changes to the work scope and record such variations and ensure they are signed by Clients representative prior to the modifications being carried out
• ensure the labour force do not abuse the working hours
• record daily, own hours and those of the operative who have been involved during the day, these hours to be allocated against a cost code, specification sheet or variation order as applicable
• safety Officer
• advise labour force of appropriate welding instruction

Requirements

• craft Apprenticeship with a minimum of 2 years experience
• minimum 3 years supervisory experience
