Responsibility
- deliver effective recruitment and development of staff
- ensure the team maximises sales potential by the correct use of all resources, leadership and team motivation
- day to day management and review of staff and their duties
- leading by example with exemplary customer service
- identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Use feedback to modify and develop solutions and be prepared to make decisions
- ensure store and team members are presented to the highest possible standards in line with brand expectation. Be competent in product knowledge and feedback regularly to Operations Manager
- reflect the values of the brand with integrity and respect for others. Be seen as truthful, fair and trustworthy and demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for the brand
- follow policies and procedures and complete administrative tasks correctly and on time. Manage store systems/processes to support a sales environment and achieve operational guidelines
Requirements
- previous and proven retail experience – minimum 2 years
- experience of managing team
- using own initiative with good self-management skills
- good general IT skills
- excellent attention to detail, including financial control, project management and the ability to adhere to deadlines
- demonstrated ability to deal with high levels of work-related pressure, for example from deadlines, interruptions or conflicting demands
- established relationships in the local marketplace
- experience of EPOS
