- observe and assist experienced welders in securing and strengthening repaired or replaced panels using different welding techniques
- learn how to conduct inspections to ensure repaired panels meet high-quality standards
- work closely with experienced professionals to develop essential quality assurance skills
- assist in preparing surfaces for refinishing and painting by applying primer, body filler, and learning paint mixing and color matching techniques
Requirements
- no professional qualifications required; minimum 3-6 months practical experience
- show a strong interest in cars and the desire to develop automotive repair skills
- have a keen eye for detail and precision to ensure accurate assessments, repairs, measurements, alignments, and finishes
- display strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with experienced professionals and other team members
- demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow in the role, with eagerness to acquire new skills and adapt to different repair techniques
