Responsibility
- we are a well-established multiple location electrical test instrument calibration, service and repair business
- we currently have a vacancy for a highly motivated individual in our expanding Calibration Department near Bristol
- you will part of a multi skilled team of internal and external engineers
- this is a predominately remote customer service based role
- the role entails the carrying out test equipment calibration on site at customers premises
- as an Onsite Electrical Calibration Engineer you should have a good knowledge of electrical engineering/calibration processes with some understanding of electronic/software systems and be able to confirm this with relevant qualifications or experience gained during your career development
- the candidate will also be required to work in our laboratory when not onsite which could be for 2 - 3 days a week
- as part of this role the candidate will be required to travel to various customer locations and also provide cover to our other sites around the UK as required by our pre-planned customer and staffing requirements
Education
- certificate of Higher Education
Requirements
- hold a technical qualification such as served engineering apprenticeship, ONC, HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 and above or demonstrable relevant experience
- knowledge of calibration and UKAS certification preferred
- knowledge of calibration practices and theories preferred
- knowledge in Windows-based applications and laboratory automation software preferred
- experience of working within a Customer focused environment
