delivery driver
Responsibility
- safely operate a delivery van, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations
- load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting when necessary
- communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues
- maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly
- conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability
- assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and stock organisation
- provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns professionally
Requirements
- previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver is advantageous
- ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely
- strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial
- A proactive attitude with excellent time management skills
- valid driver's licence must have held for 1 Year with no more than 6 points; experience as a commercial driver is preferred
- delivery driver experience: 1 year
- driving: 1 year
