Responsibility
- leading on Practical horticulture e.g., Managing shrubs, planters, herbaceous plants, bulbs, turf care, soil, hard surfaces & maintenance of garden machinery
- providing on the ground management and support to gardeners and apprentices
- A strong knowledge of soft landscaping practices, you will be expected to oversee ground maintenance activities and soft landscaping
- an effective leader, with previous experience of managing others
- provide support and technical advice, including practical and professional help where required
- management and delivery of Grosvenor Health and Safety Management System to meet the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and other relevant legislation, policies, procedures, codes of practice and guidance
- ensure that general risk, manual handling and COSHH assessments and safe systems of work for all activities are planned, implemented, and reviewed
- ensure the management of the landscape meets the criteria for relevant national standards and awards e.g., London in Bloom and Green Flag
