- you should be able to work with a variety of machine tools including welding, bending and cutting equipment
- manufacturing of components to engineering drawings or verbal instruction
- fabrication and welding of specialist and bespoke items
- use of a full range of workshop equipment to assist with the above
- MIG and TIG welding of mild and stainless steel to a good standard
- you will need to work with limited supervision and be part of a small team. At times, this role is customer facing and you should therefore have good communication skills and a pleasing personality
- installation of completed items on customer premises
Requirements
- full, clean driving licence
- valid CSCS card
- welding experience
