Requirements
- previous experience in stores and warehousing or a similar role
- valid FLT and Reach Truck licenses
- proficiency in stores software and computer skills
- ideally, experience working with mechanical components
- strong organisational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to take ownership of the stores department
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- warehouse experience: 1 year
Responsibility
- efficiently unloading and receipting goods inwards using the Sage system
- demonstrating expertise in handling a variety of engineering components
- selecting and preparing parts to be sent to clients and field engineers
- managing stock levels and effectively placing orders for replenishment
- collaborating closely with the Finance team to maintain accurate stock records
- maintaining a clean, well-organized, and efficient stores environment
- working closely with the manufacturing team to prevent stock shortages and expedite urgent orders when necessary
- taking a lead role in conducting the annual stock take to ensure accuracy and timeliness
