- overall responsibility for a small team of import operatives
- planning and delegating import department workload
- maintaining good relationships with Carriers and inter-departmental relationships at all times, giving regular feedback to the Operations Manager
- closely monitor the shipments for the customers, ensuring they are kept informed and communicate delays or issues in a timely manner
