workshop supervisor
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- planning and managing the warehouse operations which involves the day-to-day activities of storage, receiving, dispatching, distribution, housekeeping and inventory control
- monitoring stock inventory
- monitoring & updating of incoming & outgoing goods
- maintain good housekeeping practices in the workshop/warehouse area
- monitor equipment movement in the warehouse
- organize and allocate the flow of work through the warehouse and workshop to make the best use of staff, equipment and other resources
- communicating effectively with colleagues at all levels to ensure satisfactory information transfer
- perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management
Requirements
- proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
- proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
- previous experience in oil and gas/lifting industry is desirable
- able to drive forklift with valid forklift license
- team player with strong sense of responsibility
- strong organisational and time management skills
- self-starter with initiative
- hands-on commitment to getting the job done
