- QCF/NVQ CF L2 in Health & Social Care Services or equivalent qualification or evidence of working towards
- at least 2 years’ experience working with individuals who require enhanced support/complex needs
- evidence of completion of Care certificate
- train the trainer qualification
- safeguarding Adults Level 2 or above
- previous role as support worker for Learning Disability/Autism service
- previous role as Senior support worker in a Health and Social Care setting
- proven experience in supporting people with Learning Disabilities/Autism
Responsibility
- OUR MISSION is to make a positive difference to people and their families by delivering personalised health and social care that helps them to achieve the things they want out of life
- ensure that accidents, incidents and near miss events are recorded and escalated to the team leader/deputy manager
- to support people to make informed decisions about their health and administer prescribed medication
- support with personal care when required
- to assist with the management of finances
- to take an active involvement in support plans and ensure these reflect the people we support
- participate in daily handovers ensuring that you contribute key information related to the people we support, is shared
- make safeguarding an absolute priority. Ensure that you report concerns, poor practice, or suspected abuse always
