- prepare and finalise financial accounts for a range of companies, sole-traders and partnerships
- prepare and finalise both company and individual tax returns
- oversee the bookkeeping and payroll function
- stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
- using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks as well as manual records to accurately record financial transactions and prepare final accounts
Requirements
- strong knowledge of preparing and finalising annual accounts gained in practice
- proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
- good working knowledge of VAT, payroll, final accounts and tax
- excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, internal teams and others
- AAT qualified
