Responsibility

  • perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and suspension or steering issues
  • conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems or safety concerns
  • use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues
  • complete necessary repairs in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction
  • provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about vehicle repairs
  • keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles

Requirements

  • proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician
  • strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
  • proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues
  • ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with automotive repair work
  • excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle repairs
  • welding experience is a plus
