Responsibility
- review health and safety policy and procedures and update as appropriate
- review, carry out and issue Risk Assessments according to an agreed schedule
- monitor first aid and accident procedures to ensure best practice and compliance with law
- schedule, organise and record Health and Safety Training
- comply with requirements for quality , health and safety and environmental protection
- continuously monitor and review HR Policies and Procedures and implement changes or introduce new policies as required. Ensure policies are communicated to the workforce
Requirements
- the ideal candidate will have
- a flexible approach to work and be highly motivated
- previous experience of at least 2 years operating in a similar generalist role, preferably within an SME environment
- a CIPD qualification - level 5 or equivalent HR qualification
- up to date knowledge of employment law
- the ability to build strong working relationships and drive change
- excellent organisational skills
- human resources: 2 years
