Responsibility

  • financial Accounting
  • responsible for acquisition accounting for new businesses
  • preparation and filing of statutory accounts across the Group including the Group Consolidated Annual Report
  • manage statutory audits across the Group working closely with the Finance Operations Team
  • implement accounting standard changes across the group, advise the Finance Operations team on practical implementation
  • spot check Finance Operations monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • draft judgement papers to document rationale for accounting policy interpretations
  • draft and keep up to date the accounting policies manual

Requirements

  • in-depth knowledge of IFRS
  • experience working with Private Equity backed businesses
  • audit background experience within large accountancy firm
  • acquisition accounting experience
  • 5+ years experience holding relevant qualifications
