Responsibility

update and audit client care plans and assist with digital care planning
undertake support visits and observations of new and existing staff, including medication and manual handling competency assessments
develop excellent relationships with both Clients and Caregivers so both can enjoy positive experiences
managing the on-call out-of-hours service on a rotational basis - one weekday per week, and one weekend in three
at least 50% of your time initially, will be completing care duties including offering companionship, providing personal care duties, administering medication, meal preparation, domestic duties, shopping and social outings
administrative duties, you will spend a minimum of one day per week in the office to support the Registered Manager, Directors with compliance based activities or assisting with other office based activities

Requirements

you have a minimum of 3 years care experience
strong IT skills, with previous experience of an electronic care management system
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
leadership qualities to supervise and guide junior staff members
compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
A UK driving license and access to reliable transport is essential for this role due to community working and out of hours requirements
ideally you will have an NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care with a willingness to undertake your Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
