warehouse operative
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- receive goods at the loading/receiving dock
- store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse
- our company is building on our success with ambitious growth plans for the future. We’re now looking to attract another keen individual to join our warehouse and workshop team located in Goldthorpe South Yorkshire
- check product for damages or missing items upon receipt
- move and rearrange product in locations, either by hand, pallet truck or fork truck
- update delivery records for warehouse deliveries and collections
- keeping the areas clean and following the companies H&S policy
- work within a team approach to achieve daily tasks with good communication skills
Requirements
- forklift Experience: Have a counterbalance licence with 6 months’ experience
- IT Skills: Basic skills required for data entry and inventory checking
- organisation Skills: Has ability to visualise ways to organise Warehouse and Workshop products for safe working and maximising efficiencies
- self-motivation: Being a go getter, contribute as part of a team and achieve set goals
