- to run CNC machines and to maintain high quality components
- maintaining accurate records and completing administrative tasks
- working as part of a team to ensure adequate cover is available at all times
- ensuring standards of health and safety are maintained in all areas of work, including following safety procedures when operating machinery and tools
- working alongside skilled engineers, learning all areas of the business – specifically running CNC machines and maintaining high quality standards in production
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience in Programming 2 axis CNC lathes machines using Fanuc Control, with C-axis and live tooling an advantage
- good eye for detail, neat and tidy, good housekeeping
- able to be a team player and work independently
- ability to work in a busy environment within a varied role
- good communication skills
- willing to take additional training and activities to develop skills and knowledge
- flexibility to perform ad-hoc duties expected of the role
- programming 2 axis CNC lathes machines using Fanuc control: 3 years
