Responsibility

  • we are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor based out of our North West office in Birchwood, Warrington
  • the evaluation, vetting and comparison of subcontract tenders to ensure compliance with specification
  • arranging, attending, chairing and recording minutes of subcontract pre-order meetings
  • regular review and updating of CVR to ensure that forecasted profit/loss figures are as accurate as possible given the current information
  • working with the project team and subsequent placing of formal orders with subcontractors ensuring choosing the most suitable sub-contractor that provides the best financial outcome without affect on the programme
  • liaising with the Client’s Agent/Quantity Surveyor/Architect as required to ensure they are aware of any aspects of the project which may affect the contract sum
  • compiling project budget cost data and formulating Management Report
  • preparation and regular review of subcontract procurement schedule
