- coordinate and oversee Pick-Ups & Drops schedules to ensure timely dispatch of goods
- communicate effectively with Dispatcher, staff, and customers to resolve any issues that may arise during the delivery process
- conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and report any mechanical issues
- assist in loading and unloading goods from vehicles, ensuring proper handling
- maintain accurate records of journeys, including any discrepancies or damages
- provide training and support to any new drivers on best practices for operations
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all field activities
Requirements
- previous experience as a driver or in a similar logistics role is preferred
- strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot vehicle issues as they arise
- experience driving MPV vehicles is advantageous
- excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and clients
- valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a commercial driver is a plus
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- familiarity with day to day operations is beneficial
- UK Driving: 1 year
