junior developer
Responsibility
- design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs
- collaborate with front-end developers and product teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability
- implement security and data protection measures
- write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, while ensuring best practices are followed
- conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring high availability and performance
- stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure the continued evolution of our platform
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- proven experience as a Back-end Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of server-side programming
- proficiency in programming languages such as Python , C# or Java
- experience with database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
- knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git
- experience with cloud platforms is a plus
- strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
