technical engineer
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- service, maintenance, and repair of all forms of welding equipment and associated plant
- carry out validation of welding and associated equipment as dictated by company requirements
- installation of plant at customers premises and/or preparation of the same at base workshops
- complete any training courses as required by management or directors
- provide any training requested by customers within the scope of employment
- carry out electrical and mechanical repairs to equipment as dictated by the service manager within the scope of knowledge, skills, and experience
- comply with Health and Safety Regulations for all work undertaken, taking appropriate measures as required and to ISO standard
Requirements
- strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and general engineering skills
- proficient in analyzing and diagnosing electrical problems
- experience in field service work, preferably in an industrial setting
- excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients
- valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as required
