Responsibility
- develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- develop and maintain HR policies, advising managers and employees accordingly
- manage recruitment and selection strategies, leading the recruitment and induction process

- ensure employee relation cases are managed to meet best practice requirements
- monitor and develop performance appraisal systems to drive high performance
- monitor all employee records to include absence and timekeeping and provide regular reports to the senior management team
- manage HR administration systems/personnel files to ensure they are kept up to date
- develop starter and leaver procedures, and other procedures and work instruction related to HR scope
- gather and evaluate market data to measure competitiveness, and develop company salary reviews, compensation, and benefits packages
- manage complex employee relations casework such as dispute resolutions, disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence
- assess training needs, implement learning and development policy, and provide and source training and development programs
- manage talent and succession planning
- reporting to the Finance Director, and based at the Newcastle under Lyme office, you will be the first point of contact for all HR matters, developing and delivering a comprehensive and professional human resources service
- continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary
Requirements
- level 5 CIPD qualified as a minimum level
- degree in Human Resources is desirable
- experience as HR manager or senior HR executive in a generalist role
