Responsibility
- we are looking for a Fabricator Welder to join our team
- you will be responsible for welding and fabricating Mild steel parts, manly for the construction Industry
- the candidate must be experienced in welding and fabricating mild steel
- we fabricate most things in mild steel from a lot of our works are structural/Architectural steelwork, with the occasional batch works
- fabricate items from mild steel plate Universal beams and Columns, shs, rhs, rsa's and other components
- fabricate and weld metal components according to blueprints and specifications
- we fabricate most things in mild steel, a lot of our works are structural/Architectural steelwork, with the occasional batch works
- welding, cutting, drilling, or other means
Requirements
- ability to read drawings, blueprints, and other documents to determine specifications of metal parts
- ability to use hand tools such as saws, drills, grinders, hammers, etc
- ability to use math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to determine dimensions of metal parts
- proficient in Fabricating and welding of structural and architectural steelwork
- familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in metal fabrication
- ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- MIG welding: 5 years
- fabrication: 1 year
