Responsibility
- maintaining an accurate record of financial transactions
- inputting financial transactions using sage
- processing receipts, payments, invoices, income, and expenditure
- regular review of purchase ledger balances to identify and resolve missing transactions
- maintenance of sales ledger and credit control processes
- verifying the accuracy of business accounts and liaising with our accountant to rectify discrepancies
- providing administrative support to the team, where required
- in addition to these functions, you may be required to carry out other duties as may be reasonably required
Requirements
- knowledge of Sage is essential
- excellent communication skills including written and verbal and be confident in explaining financial matters and dealing with clients and suppliers
- excellent customer service skills
- salary pro-rata
- high attention to detail, and the ability to produce work with a high level of accuracy, and ability to spot errors
- accounting: 1 year
- bookkeeping: 1 year
- excellent time management and organisational ability, to manage different financial duties, including the ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines
