- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent degree level qualification
- techIOSH or GradIOSH Membership
- 1 year 'Safety Professional' experience
- strong Microsoft Package experience
- previous construction Experience
- ability to work under pressure
- all training can be given to the successful applicant
Responsibility
- advising clients on changes to working practices to ensure they are safe and comply with legislation
- developing and recommending safety improvement initiatives to clients
- management of investigation into incidents / accidents and maintenance of appropriate records as and when required
- maintaining knowledge of all the Health and Safety Executive legislation and any developments that affect the industry
- carrying out planned and ad-hoc site inspections and formulating reports and recommendations
- ensuring a safe client workplace environment without risk to health
- compiling or assisting in the compilation of Construction Phase Plans, Pre-Construction Information, Risk Assessments and Method Statements for our portfolio of clients
- collating of, and amendment to, the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations
