Responsibility
- you will deliver construction and compliance information that will include the use of BIM, CAD and energy modelling software
- you will be working across all RIBA work stages, producing energy assessments of buildings at RIBA Stages 2 or 3 and developing construction design and detailing information during RIBA Stage 4
- conduct regular site visits to ensure project progress and budget adherence
Requirements
- CIAT Accredited Honours undergraduate degree in architectural technology
- 3 years’ experience of a similar role
- other suitable skills and experience include Architectural Technologist, Architectural Technician, Architect, CAD Technician, CAD, BIM, RIBA
- able to follow office procedures
- able to meet with other professionals and clients to agree on the project brief
- experience of designing and detailing Passivhaus or similar low energy buildings
- construction of low energy buildings, including contract administration
- able to evaluate and advise on environmental, legal and regulatory issues
