Responsibility

  • you will deliver construction and compliance information that will include the use of BIM, CAD and energy modelling software
  • you will be working across all RIBA work stages, producing energy assessments of buildings at RIBA Stages 2 or 3 and developing construction design and detailing information during RIBA Stage 4
  • conduct regular site visits to ensure project progress and budget adherence

Requirements

  • CIAT Accredited Honours undergraduate degree in architectural technology
  • 3 years’ experience of a similar role
  • other suitable skills and experience include Architectural Technologist, Architectural Technician, Architect, CAD Technician, CAD, BIM, RIBA
  • able to follow office procedures
  • able to meet with other professionals and clients to agree on the project brief
  • experience of designing and detailing Passivhaus or similar low energy buildings
  • construction of low energy buildings, including contract administration
  • able to evaluate and advise on environmental, legal and regulatory issues
