Responsibility

  • you should be a good communicator and be capable of working independently
  • in addition you will have experience producing General Arrangement and Detail Drawings in Steel, Masonry and Timber
  • the position will entail working alongside our Associate Director & Drawing Office Manager
  • you will be required to delegate work to junior Technicians and be responsible for checking all drawings produced by other technicians
  • tony Doyle Associates wish to recruit a Senior Structural Technician, based at their Weston super Mare office. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for the right person to further their career with a very close supportive team
  • the candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in building structures with a strong emphasis on Reinforced Concrete detailing to relevant British Standards or Eurocodes
  • this is a permanent position and is initially office based only
  • mentoring junior technicians and developing their skillset is an essential part of the position, ensuring they are competent at drawing and modelling and possess a thorough understanding of the construction process

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent
