Requirements
- educated to degree level or HLTA qualification
- working with young people through an extra-curricular activity ✓
- experience of communicating with young people in a clear, friendly and ✓ approachable way
- previous experience Tutoring young people aged 11 – 16 ✓
- excellent written and verbal communication skills, including appropriate ICT ✓ skills
- evidence of raising standards and performance of a cohort of young people ✓
- A secure knowledge of the importance of data as a means both to measure and ✓ to extend progress
- experience of effective teaching and performance within the curriculum area ✓
Responsibility
- provide feedback to the department and Cover Manager relating to the nature of work left
- participate in the development and management of the School by attending various team and staff meetings
- attend and participate in regular meetings, including staff meetings
- duties: comply with any reasonable request from the Chief Executive Officer and Headteacher to undertake work of a similar level that is not specified in this job description
- undertake professional duties reasonably assigned to them by the Headteacher
