Responsibility
- toddington Nurseries is a successful business producing plants for Garden Centres, Waitrose and Sainsbury`s based in Barnham West Sussex
- you will report direct to the Maintenance Manager
- the ideal candidate would have some experience of the Horticultural industry, but whilst that is an advantage it is not essential
- full training will be given
- it is a member of the Farplants Group the biggest supplier of garden plants to Garden Centres in the UK with over 600 customers
- we are seeking to employ a Maintenance Operative to work with a small team to carry out maintenance on a wide range of equipment on the nursery including nursery machinery such as potting machines, gas and woodchip boilers, irrigation schemes and all other types of machinery used on a modern nursery
- the salary is up to £26,000 per annum and all other normal benefits apply
- this is a hands on job, the work is varied and rewarding and you will be a vital employee on the nursery
