field service engineer
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- carry out specific routes collecting abandoned trolleys, from a range of environments, including parks, rivers and canals to name a few
- carry out all manners of repairs, maintenance, installations and refurbishment to customer shopping trolleys and associated equipment when required
- provide holiday cover on a rotational basis for other work colleagues
- return trolleys to customer stores and liaise with the Store Manager where necessary
- input accurate and timely information of collections onto hand-held mobile devices
- to take responsibility for ensuring own fitness to drive at all times
- look after the vehicle and ensure that it is not subjected to unnecessary damage
- maintain the cleanliness of the driving cab
Requirements
- full UK Driving Licence
- van driving experience is advantageous
- technical ability to fully operate & enter timely information onto hand-held-devices
- physical capability to lift and move trolleys manually
- must be up to date with key vaccinations
- must be self motivated with a can-do attitude
- you will also be required to spend nights away from home, covering jobs at various locations
- you will be required to utilise a Sleeper Van when working away from home where a hotel is not available
