Responsibility
- construct and repair structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and natural stones
- lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints or specifications
- mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using hand tools or power tools
- align and level bricks, stones, or blocks using plumb lines, levels, or squares
- cut or shape bricks, stones, or blocks using hand tools or power tools
- clean excess mortar from surfaces to ensure a neat and professional appearance
- repair or replace damaged bricks, stones, or blocks as necessary
Requirements
- minimum of 2 years of experience as a Brick Mason
- strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- proficient in masonry techniques and practices
- physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- knowledge of carpentry, welding, and roofing is a plus
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in masonry work
- excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on the job site
