Responsibility
- install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials
- inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action
- remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new materials
- measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions
- install insulation and vapor barriers as needed
- ensure roofs are properly sealed and waterproofed
- collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- follow safety protocols and use protective equipment at all times
Requirements
- proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role
- proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for roofing work
- knowledge of carpentry, welding, plumbing, masonry, and other related skills
- ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work at heights
- excellent teamwork and communication skills
