Responsibility
- setting Manager
- to plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in your room reflective of the EYFS
- work with parents of children who have Special Educational Needs in order to give full integration in the setting
- support all staff and engage in a good team
- to follow and adhere to all policies and procedures as set out by the organisation and locally by the setting
- liaise with and support parents and other family members
- operate a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in your setting and key group in conjunction with other staff
- to be involved in out of working hours activities, e.g training, staff meetings etc
Requirements
- have experience of working with children, preferably in an early years setting
- valid Pediatric First Aid Certificate , Health and Safety awareness and Safeguarding training would be beneficial
- knowledge and experience of working effectively with children who have Special Educational Needs and/or disbilities would be an advantage
- experience and knowledge of planning appropriate activities to meet the needs of individual children
- experience of tracking development and reporting effectively to parents
- qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Early Years Childcare and Education or Children’s Care, Learning and Development
- working in a nursery: 2 years
