Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- collaborate with Inspection, Engineering and Production to immediately and effectively resolve manufacturing issues, improve product quality and inspection criteria
- work with Inspection to ensure incoming goods conformance
- manage complaints on suppliers and follow-up corrective action plans
- oversee the product certification process to make sure products are compliant with the customer requirements
- assist with the updates and improvements to the PFMEAs and Control Plans to reduce risks on manufacturing processes
- management of the internal audit schedule and ensure any non-conformities are recorded and monitored
- facilitate investigation of customer issues and lead the problem-solving exercise through root cause analysis and improvement plan following the 8D methodology
- following PPAP process with suppliers for new product introduction activities
Requirements
- minimum HNC qualified in an Engineering subject
- experience of root cause analysis
- experience of problem-solving techniques and reporting out such as 8D, 5-whys, or similar
- ability to read and understand technical product drawings
- experience of PPAP, APQP and FMEA processes
- experience of auditing to ISO 9001 requirements
- strong communication skills
- strong IT skills
