- labourer
Responsibility
- undertake pressure washing on a variety of rail units, fans, HVAC units etc
- general cleaning duties of the workshop areas / floors
- assist with stripping of rail units when they arrive into the workshop
- clean parts and units once they have been stripped
- prepare parts ready for the Engineering team to begin work
- move parts between the two units based on site
- other general housekeeping duties as requested
- we are currently recruiting for a general Labourer / Cleaner to support the current engineering team in our busy rail overhaul workshop
Requirements
- previous experience within a similar role
- effective and professional communication skills
- ability to work to own initiative
- be able to work well individually and as part of a team
- be able to prioritise workload
